In a strategic collaboration, Share N Care India is partnering with Hope Ek A.S.H.A to have an exchange programme. A well thought out move, the intention is to give adequate support to Caregivers of Dementia patients, their spouses, their families’ in a serene environment at Aluva (Kerala). Dementia persons from Kerala would be cared for at Hope Ek A.S.H.A in New Delhi.
Caring for persons with Dementia involves compassion, treating them with empathy, understanding and kindness. A.S.H.A. – Affectionate Secured Home for Alzheimer’s is truly a beacon of hope towards anyone suffering from Dementia and their loved ones.
Our joint endeavour shall be to create a Dementia Friendly Community across India, by establishing PAN India exclusive homes for persons with Dementia. Share N Care India in sync with the long term vision of Hope Ek A.S.H.A is heading to establish a unique, purposeful “DEMENTIA CARE VILLAGE” by FY 2025-26 with a capacity to house 100 Dementia affected persons along with exclusive Retirement Homes for their spouses, partners, close relatives to have enduring stress free quality life.
Hope Ek A.S.H.A. has also a long term goal to open a Caregivers’ Institutes specialized for Dementia Care training. The organization is already imparting training at their centre ASHA (A Day and Residential Care Facility) B-4/51, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi.
Share N Care India in association with Hope Ek A.S.H.A is gearing up to establish Caregiver’s Institute to begin with at Aluva (Kerala) by April 2024 and subsequently at Delhi NCR.
Young aspirants who wish to take up CAREGIVING as their profession will be trained in the field of “Elder Care” AND “Alzheimer’s Care”. While drawing on the tremendous talent pool of world famous Kerala Nursing fraternity, the Institute in addition to Basic / Diploma courses will impart courses in foreign languages. Suitable Diploma holders may obtain employment in Dementia Care Centres and Assisted Living facilities across the Globe especially in US, UK and Canada.
